Abstract
This thesis focuses on the redesign and technical implementation of the Transaction History user interface within the framework of Egencia's new Single Global Platform. Guided by human-computer interaction principles and Egencia’s internal design guidelines, the interface addresses challenges presented by the legacy user interface, rectifies issues like inconsistent styling with the other parts of the Single Global Platform, complex information architecture, and alignment discrepancies. Through meticulous implementation using JavaScript, React, and Egencia's internal UI component library, the resulting interface is more responsive and has better performance; and it seamlessly integrates with the platform's design paradigm, enhancing user experiences across various roles, including Travelers, Agents, Travel Arrangers, and Travel Managers. This thesis project not only revitalizes the Transaction History web application but also contributes to a more streamlined and intuitive interaction within the Egencia website.Description
