Abstract

This study explores the consumer experiences of electric scooter users employing qualitative research methods. In the swiftly evolving context of modern urban mobility, the regulations and policies established by cities and service providers have not kept pace with technological and societal developments. Globally, cities have faced challenges from both urban planning and public health perspectives. Analysis of electric scooter users' experiences reveals that the inadequacies in existing regulations have rendered the consumer experience chaotic and undesirable. Users of electric scooters have been compelled to establish their own informal rules, frequently violating official regulations and shifting responsibility to other stakeholders.
