Abstract
"I Am the Architect of My Existence,"aims to understand the body as an object of investigation, transformable and malleable, and to examine how each transformation entails a form of death. In this thesis, I will address animation through stop motion and virtual reality, motivated by the exploration of scales within virtual reality, sculpture, and textures, and exploring concepts such as the body, death, and transformation. I will reflect on the meaning of owning and having a body, and how it is affected by its environment. Although this research is based on personal experiences, it aims to connect with others through empathy and respect. I will propose visual elements that allow the viewer to create meanings related to their own experiences, opening spaces for dialogue regarding the theme of this virtual experience.Description
