Abstract
As primary experimental implements to the development of text mining visual communication, the thesis dedicate two visualizations that bring in the perspective of nature and narrativity as a takeaway of design thinking in the technique filed. Research has actively applied text mining analysis to understand emotion and opinion. However, in contrary to the development of text mining technique, qualified visualizations to communicate efficiently with its recipient remains less explored. The tendency of visual presentation in a computer-science-based context draws the distance from its recipients, and as a result, creates a knowledge gap from other disciplines. With respect to the necessity, the design equips functional elements and interactive features to the visual communication in various facets. Bring in a perspective of nature and narrativity; the design outcomes motivate users to explore the unfamiliar but relatively vital information presented by the analysis result, and, furthermore, provide an introductory understanding of text mining utilized within the design discipline. As an exploratory approach, the thesis outlines new forms of visualization beyond automatically generated presentation and provide a design perspective on the technique domain field, which brings fresh air into further studies.Description
