Abstract
This thesis aims to evaluate the impact of entrepreneurship education on students' perception, recognition, and evaluation of entrepreneurial opportunities. Using a two-step survey, students' opinions were gathered before and after taking the course "Startup Experience." The survey results showed that entrepreneurship education can lead to a shift in perception, with students becoming more nuanced and incorporating themes such as market understanding and addressing market gaps. The thesis concludes that entrepreneurship education should focus on improving students' cognitive abilities in opportunity recognition and evaluation through the implementation of case studies, simulated scenarios, and reflection. While the results show promise, further research is needed to quantify the effects of entrepreneurship education on students' perception and evaluation of opportunities.Description
