Abstract
This chapter investigates the advancing field of semiconducting fibers in 2D/3D textiles and their integration into wearable technology. It begins with a detailed examination of various fiber fabrication methods like wet spinning, electrospinning, and melt spinning. The chapter then transitions to the integration of these fibers into different textile structures, including woven, knit, nonwoven, and 3D spacer textiles. It highlights the unique attributes of these textiles, such as breathability, flexibility, and conductivity, and their applicability in various domains such as sensors, energy storage, and photocatalysis, emphasizing the significant potential of these materials in advancing wearable technology.Description
