Kuntatekniikan ammattipätevyydet – Soveltuvuus ja koulutuksen toteutus

Abstract

Tässä diplomityössä tutkitaan Suomen Kuntatekniikan asettamien am-mattipätevyyksien soveltuvuutta katu- ja viheralueiden työtehtäviin sekä pohditaan, miten ammattipätevyyttä tulisi kouluttaa ja testata. Pohjana toimivat eri oppimiskäsitteet ja kasvatustieteen opit ihmisen oppimises-ta. Työssä tutkitaan sekä empirian että teorian kautta, miten 17 ammat-tipätevyyttä soveltuvat alan työtehtäviin sekä miten pätevyyksien koulu-tus ja testaus tulisi toteuttaa.

Teoriaosuudessa lähdetään siitä, mikä on pätevyys ja millaisia tietoja ja taitoja se terminä sisältää. Tämän jälkeen tutkitaan, miten ihmisen op-pimista on tutkittu ja miten oppimista nykyaikana ymmärretään.

Empiirisen tutkimuksen perusteella annetaan arvio pätevyyksien sovel-tuvuudesta alan työtehtäviin sekä suositellaan koulutuksen järjestämistä verkko-opetuksena.

Jatkotutkimuksena voitaisiin tutkia kuntatekniikan alan toimijoita, ja niiden yhdistämisen mahdollisuutta.

This Master’s Thesis is a research on professional competencies in public works sector, namely in street and green space maintenance. This thesis evaluates the applicability of these competences to the actual job assignments as well as how the training and testing for the competences should be carried out. The basis for the research are different learn-ing concepts and pedagogical theories about how humans learn. In the thesis empirical and theoretical data will be used to evaluate how the 17 competencies match the actual job assignments as well as how these should be educated and tested.

In the theoretical section the term ‘competence’ will be defined as well as what kind of knowledge and skills it includes. After this, different theories about human learning are described as well as what different methods of learning and teaching there are.

Based on the empirical research the thesis provides an evaluation of the applicability of the 17 competences. In addition to this, on-line learning is suggested as the method of teaching and testing these competences.

Future research could be done on the different organizations working within the public works sector.
