Abstract
A two junction superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) which can perform a single shot quantum measurement of a Josephson charge qubit were shown. The limits of this detector posed by the finite contrast in measuring the quantum state of the SQUID, the finite quality factor of the SQUID, and the coupling of the qubit to environment noise.Description
