Abstract
Tämän diplomityön tarkoituksena on tehdä suunnitelma pienestä esivalmisteisesta omakotitalotyypistä, joka soveltuu vanhuksille. Työ on saanut alkunsa toimeksiantona Lapinjärvelle, ja se on toteutettu yhteistyössä Aalto-yliopiston, Lapinjärven kunnan ja Asumisen rahoitus- ja kehittämiskeskuksen (ARA) kanssa. Kunnan toiveena on ollut luoda uusi edullinen vaihtoehto vanhusten asunnoille ja osittain korvata olemassa olevaa kunnan vanhuksille suunnattua vuokra-asuntokantaa. Diplomityön aihe on ajankohtainen. Väestö ikääntyy, ja tulevaisuudessa yhä useampien vanhusten toivotaan asuvan kotonaan mahdollisimman pitkään. Tarve ikäihmisille suunnitelluista asunnoista on siis ilmeinen. Suunnitelma on yleispätevä tyyppitalo, joka on toteutettavissa siellä missä sille on tarvetta ja jossa asukas voi asua elämänsä loppuun saakka. Ikääntyvä väestö on yhä pitempään hyväkuntoista. Suunnitelmassa onkin keskitytty suunnittelemaan kaiken ikäisille sopiva koti, joka on mahdollista myöhemmin muokata vanhuksen erityistarpeita vastaavaksi. Erityisesti on kiinnitetty huomiota asunnon yksityiskohtiin ja niihin suuntautuviin tarpeisiin ja muutosmahdollisuuksiin. Lopputuloksena on suunnitelma tyyppitalojärjestelmästä, joka muuntautuu asukkaan tarpeita vastaavaksi. Järjestelmä esitellään rakenneyksityiskohdista korttelikokonaisuuteen. Työhön kuuluu myös aluesuunnitelmasovellus Lapinjärven keskustan tuntumaan.The aim of this thesis is to develop a model for a small prefabricated detached house which is suitable for elderly people. The work was initiated as a commission to the small town of Lapinjärvi in southern Finland. It was carried out in co-operation with Aalto University, the municipality of Lapinjärvi and The Housing Finance and Development Centre of Finland (ARA). The municipality wished to develop a new inexpensive option for senior housing, and to replace some of the existing rental housing for the elderly in the area. The topic of the thesis is very actual. The population in Finland is ageing, and it is generally expected that in the future a growing number of elderly people live at home as long as possible. As a result, the need for housing for the elderly is evident. The design presented in the thesis is a universal housing model, which is possible to execute where ever it is needed, and in which people can live until the end of their lives. The ageing population today also stays healthy for a longer time. Therefore, the design focuses on creating a model that is suitable for all ages and that can later be modified to suit the special needs of an elderly person. Special attention is paid to the details of the house, to the needs attached to these details, and modification possibilities they have. The final design is a housing system, named Lapinjärvitalo, that transforms to serve the needs of the resident. The system is presented from structure details to a city block. A case study of an area plan of a housing district applying Lapinjärvitalo to the centre of the town Lapinjärvi, is included in the work.Description
