Abstract

Kuluttajien jakeluverkkoon liittämä sähkön mikro- ja pientuotanto on kasvattanut suosiotaan jo usean vuoden ajan. Erityisesti aurinkosähkön mikrotuottajien määrä on kasvanut, ja pelkästään vuonna 2020 Carunan verkkoon liitettiin noin 2770 mikrotuotantolaitosta. Mikrotuotantolaitosten tuotanto aiheuttaa jakeluverkon jännitteen laatuun muutoksia, ja erityisesti ylijännitteestä voi muodostua ongelmia pienen kulutuksen ajankohtina tuotannon ollessa suurta. Tässä työssä tutkitaan ja esitetään hajautetun pien- ja mikrotuotannon yleisiä vaikutuksia jakeluverkon jännitelaadussa ja suojauksissa sekä voimassa olevien standardien ja suositusten antamia määräyksiä. Työssä myös kerrotaan uusiutuviin energianlähteisiin perustuvien sähköntuotantomuotojen nykytilasta ja tulevaisuudesta. Tämän diplomityön tavoitteena on selvittää, voidaanko verkkoon liittää enemmän sähkön mikrotuotantokapasiteettia, mikäli tuotantolaitosten tehokertoimien asetteluarvoihin vaikutetaan. Tällä hetkellä mikrotuotantolaitokset liitetään useimmiten verkkoon tehokertoimella yksi. Kasvanut mikrotuotannon suosio ja tuotantolaitosten kapasiteetti aiheuttaa tuotannon aikaan jännitteen nousua. Tähän nousuun on mahdollista vaikuttaa hillitsevästi asettamalla tuotantolaitoksen tehokerroin pienemmäksi induktiiviseen suuntaan. Työn tuloksista havaitaan, että verkkoon liitettävissä olevaa mikrotuotantolaitteistojen tehoa on mahdollista kasvattaa tehokertoimien induktiivisemmalla asettelulla. Tulokset esitetään työssä erilaisten verkkoprofiilien mukaan. Kasvaneiden tuotantolaitostehojen esittämisen ohessa tuloksissa kerrotaan myös verkkoon kohdistuvista muuttuneista kuormituksen tasoista, ja kuinka kasvaneeseen kuormitukseen kannattaisi reagoida.

The distribution network connected small and microscale power production have been growing popularity for several years amongst consumers. Especially the number of the solar PV micro producers has increased, and in 2020 alone, about 2,770 microgeneration plants were connected to Caruna’s distribution grid. The micro production causes changes in the quality of the voltage, and overvoltage in particular might be the case during the times of low consumption but high production. This study investigates and presents the general effects of distributed small and microscale power production on the voltage quality and protection of the distribution network, as well as the regulations set by current standards and recommendations. The study also describes the current state and future views of renewable power production. The aim of this master’s thesis is to find out whether more generation capacity can be connected to the grid, in case the power factors of the generation plants are affected. Currently, micro plants are most often connected to the grid with a power factor value of one. The increased popularity of micro production and plant capacities are causing the voltage to rise during production. It is possible to ease the effect of voltage rise by setting the power factors of micro plants more inductive. The results of this thesis show, that it is possible to increase the capacity of grid connected micro plants by more inductive power factor setup. The study results are presented in the work by different profiles of the network. Not only the increased production capacities are shown, but also the increased level of loads in the network are considered with some reaction proposals.
