Abstract
The paper is written using literature reviews method. Given the struggle of Japan with sluggish wage growth and low productivity, the paper focuses on analyzing the increase of non-regular workers and the Japanese employment system to see how these two factors affect wage growth and productivity. At the end, there will be some policy implications for the current situation of the labor market in Japan.
