Abstract
Taiteen maisterin opinnäytetyö Nimeämätön koostuu kirjasta, joka sisältää valokuvia ja tekstejä. Kirjan ensimmäinen kuvallinen osuus tutkii luonnollisen ja keinotekoisen materiaalin suhdetta toisiinsa. Jälkimmäinen kuvaosuus käsittelee ihmisen vieraantuneisuutta luonnosta ja samalla itsestään. Valokuvat ovat vuosilta 2016-2019. Tekstini koostuu neljästä omakohtaisesta kertomuksesta, joiden aiheena on ihmisenä oleminen, siihen kuuluvat haasteet sekä merkityksellisyyden etsiminen. Toisen kuvakokonaisuuden jälkeen pohdin kirjan lopussa Tyhjyys-nimisessä esseessä prosessin aikana pintaan nousseita aiheita nojautuen eri ajattelutraditioihin.Unnamed is a Master's thesis in the form of a book consisting of text and images. The first part of the photographic work examines the relationship between nature and artificial elements. The second visual part of the book deals with humans' estrangement from nature and simultaneously from themselves. All images have been created between 2016 and 2019. The text part consist of four personal stories with an empirical theme about humanity and the challenges involved in being human, as well as humanity’s search for meaning. At the end of this book, in an essay called Emptiness, I reflect over topics which surfaced during the writing process using ideas from philosophy and psychology.Description
