Abstract
This thesis will look into unethical affairs in textile industry’s supply chain and identify three unethical procedures, which are most widely and tremendously affecting the lives of garment workers. After the identification, the research will define how these three key unethical procedures could be minimized and eventually removed from the textile industry’s supply chains with the use of blockchain technology. There are two research questions for this thesis paper. 1) What is the tier structure of the textile industry’s supply chain and what are the key three ethical problems in these supply chains? 2) What kind of benefits would the implementation of blockchain technology to the textile industry’s supply chain bring in terms of increasing transparency and minimizing unethical actions? 2.1) How an un-truthful information input to the blockchain technology during the supply chain management can be minimized?Description
