Abstract
In this thesis I use daily data from Argentinian Stock exchange to examine if there is sufficient evidence to call the situation in Argentina a hyperinflation. I will observe the relationship between the inflation and equity trading in Argentinian stock-market. I also investigate how the abnormally high inflation affects the stock-market and comparee the data with previous cases of hyperinflation. Additionally I will be looking into historical cases of hyperinflation to see if there are similarities with the current situation in Argentina.Description
