Abstract

This thesis endeavors to devise methodological techniques for crafting immersive and authentic architectural environments within game engines. The focus lies in understanding and simulating the intricate interplay between cultural, artistic, climatic, and construction-related factors and how these influences evolve within a given geographic area. The research will be structured around two main objectives: 1. Exploring how cultural nuances, artistic expression, climate considerations, and construction methodologies shape architecture design, interiors, and environments. 2. Investigating the dynamic nature of architecture over time, examining how cultural shifts, artistic trends, climate variations, changes in building materials, construction techniques, and local behaviors contribute to the evolution of architectural landscapes. Finally, it proposes a method for rationally designing realistic and immersive virtual architectural spaces. These methods analyze the background elements of the virtual world to align the designs with the audience's cognitive perceptions and expectations.
