Abstract

This thesis is about an animation whose subject is dark secrets, in this thesis. The subject is discussed, how a deep and abstract subject like a dark secret can be turned into an animation, and at the same time, how this film can help the audience who have a dark secret. The purpose of this film and research is to arouse empathy and improve the audience's understanding of the suffering of others. This project was made in Belgium, Finland, and Portugal and combines live-action and animation.
