Abstract
The thesis describes the artistic research that leads up to the short film production “Cherry, Passion Fruit”, created as part of the ReAnima, European Joint Master in Animation. The start point is the investigation of the concept of dreaming in the context of indigenous people from Brazil, and how it relates to the personal dreams of the author. The theme of desire in dreams is also explored by the myth of the “Psychopomp” and the artistic practice of the author regarding erotism, nature and intuition. The thesis describes and analyzes different artistic pieces produced during the research phase, and then the construction of the final short-film, from the script to the animation and sound design.Description
