Abstract
This paper compares two different standstill identification schemes for the induction motor (IM) parameters. The schemes apply sinusoidal-excitation tests and DC-decay tests. Magnetic saturation of the motor is taken into account. The sensitivity of the parameter estimation to the stator resistance errors and the voltage errors is studied. Simulation results using a 2.2-kW IM drive are presented.Description
