Using these as categories, a set of criteria is formed to help software development teams in making educated decisions towards best technologies. Literature study is used to find the most relevant features to in each category to measure. This information is then used as a basis to form the criteria, which is then tested on mobile application development project in the financial industry as a case study. Results from the case study show that the formed criteria is helpful when choosing technology for information service project. Forming a set of criteria helps to evaluate different technologies in measurable way and offers a way for development team to pick the right technology.
