Abstract
This thesis explores the ergonomic evolution of game controllers, focusing on the tension between technological innovation and inclusivity for users with diverse physical needs. The study examines key ergonomic challenges, such as hand-size compatibility, repetitive strain injuries, and the limitations of standardized designs, while highlighting advancements such as modular controllers and adaptive technologies. The aim is to identify and analyze design features that support inclusive and adaptable user experiences, rather than propose universally optimal solutions.
