Abstract
Esineiden inernet -ympäristössä tiedonsiirto on tärkein osuus. Tässä työssä esiteltiin kolme yleisintä tiedonsiirto protokollaa syvällisesti. Työssä havaittiin että jokaisella protokollalla on vahvuutensa ja heikkoutensa, joten tiedonsiirtomenetelmä on tärkeää valita tilannekohtaisesti. Lisäksi työssä esiteltiin esimerkkianalyysi, sekä muutama esimerkki kriteereistä, joita on tarkasteltava kun tehdään protokollavalinta. Työn tavoitteena on luoda lukijalle yleiskuva alan tärkeimmistä menetelmistä, ja rakentaa pohjaa jonka perusteella lukija voi tehdä hyviä päätöksiä protokollien valinnassa.
One of the most critical parts of IoT-systems is the propagation of data. This work describes in detail the operational principles of the three most significant data transfer prtocols in IoT. This work aims to provide a general understanding of the concepts of IoT and of the data transfer protocols described therein, as to allow the reader to have a intimate understanding of the subject matter. Furthermore this work provides examplary analyses, in order provide a framework for the reader, upon which to base decisions in selecting protocols for IoT systems.
