dc.description.abstractPerformance of the IMS network is of high importance to modern day VoLTE solution providers. Varying implementations and great complexity characterize this network and therefore, monitoring its performance using several approaches is advised and beneficial. The first part of the thesis represents and analyses the performance of the IMS network through passive measurements, examining its key performance indicators. We set up a baseline and investigate anomalies. In the second part we introduce and evaluate the TWAMP and BART active measurement methods, paying special attention to accuracy and usefulness in the IMS network.en
