Abstract
This chapter takes a critical perspective on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in art. It looks at AI from a feminist phenomenological stance, focusing on how AI is comprehended and entangled in other digital and physical processes. Moreover, this chapter aims to position AI in the context of global media arts education. Looking at artists engaged with AI, this chapter highlights three views on AI art, through which it proposes ways to think about and use AI in art and education. Lastly, this chapter provokes us to shift the discourse on AI and discover new possibilities within AI arts.Description
