Abstract:
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is using different tactics to make a website more attractive to search engines. The goal of SEO is to rank high on search engine search result pages (SERP) and through increased ranking attract more traffic. While there are universal guidelines in SEO work, to achieve best possible results SEO work needs to be customized to serve individual needs such as business goals and website content. This thesis was conducted as a case work for a horticultural retail company. The case company operates in low competitive environment and has been competing online for many years prior any SEO efforts which defines the case study’s SEO environment.
