Abstract:Kaistanleveyden ja datanopeuksien kasvava tarve lisää kiinnostusta millimetriaaltotaajuuksien (30–300 GHz) hyödyntämiseen langattomissa tiedonsiirtosovelluksissa. Millimetriaaltotaajuuksilla tarvitaan yleensä suuntaavia antenneja, joilla on keskisuuri tai suuri antennivahvistus, kompensoimaan voimakasta vapaan tilan vaimennusta. Suuntaavilla antenneilla on kapea säteilykeila ja täten keilanohjausta tarvitaan laajan kulma-alueen kattamiseksi. Muita vaatimuksia millimetriaaltoantenneille ovat mm. pieni koko ja integroitavuus radiotaajuusetupäiden kanssa. |
