Abstract:Fotonikidekuidut ovat uudenlaisia optisia aaltojohteita, joissa on kiinteän tai onton ytimen ympärillä kuidun pituussuunnassa kulkevia ilmareikiä. Muuttamalla reikien määrää, kokoa ja sijaintia voidaan säädellä tarkasti kuitujen ominaisuuksia. Tämä väitöskirja käsittelee fotonikidekuitujen ominaisuuksia sekä kuituihin perustuvia sovelluksia. |
