Abstract:Helium on kevyt, kemiallisesti reagoimaton, yksiatominen jalokaasu, joka koostuu neljästä (4He) tai kolmesta (3He) nukleonista. Molemmat isotoopit voidaan nesteyttää laskemalla lämpötila muutamaan kelviniin. Helium ei kuitenkaan muutu kiinteäksi lämpötilaa laskemalla. Sen sijaan kvanttimekaniikan merkitys korostuu. Hiukkaset jaetaan kahteen ryhmään, bosoneihin ja fermioneihin, joiden perimmäiset ominaisuudet eroavat toisistaan. Heliumilla on edustaja kummassakin ryhmässä, koska bosoninen 4He koostuu parillisesta ja fermioninen 3He parittomasta määrästä alkeishiukkasia. |
