Abstract:Solumaisia rakenteita, kuten puuta tai Nomexia, käytetään useissa erilaisissa sovelluksissa, aina rakentamisesta sellunkeittoon ja erilaisissa skaaloissa, millimetreistä aina satoihin metreihin. Luonnollisena materiaalina puu on ortotrooppinen ja epähomogeeninen. Puun solurakenne koostuu pitkänomaisista soluista, joilla muoto ja koko vaihtelevat sekä satunnaisesti että järjestäytyneesti kuten vuosirenkaassa. |
