Kokeellinen selvitys teräsulokeparvekkeen ja kerrostalon elementtirungon välisestä liitoksesta

Abstract

Tämän diplomityön tavoitteena oli suunnitella NCC Rakennus Oy:n kehittämän teräsulokeparvekkeen testit, joiden perusteella tuotteelle haettiin sopivaa tuotehyväksyntää. Päämääränä oli esitellä kaikki tuotteelta vaaditut ominaisuudet ja niiden raja-arvot. Laboratoriotestien tuloksia verrattiin lopuksi etukäteen laadittuihin laskelmiin ja tutkittiin niiden yhteensopivuutta. Toisena tavoitteena oli tutkia erilaisia sertifiointivaihtoehtoja parvekkeelle ja valita sopivin vaihtoehto.

Työ rajattiin käsittelemään elementtirakenteisia asuinkerrostaloja, joissa teräsulokeparveke kiinnitetään välipohjaan. Parvekkeen suunnittelu ei kuulunut työn sisältöön, joten ulkopuolisen tahon tekemiä laskelmia ei esitellä työssä. Suunnittelun pääperiaatteet käytiin kuitenkin läpi ja niitä verrattiin lopuksi kokeista saatuihin tuloksiin. Diplomityön aihe rajautuu teräsulokeparvekkeen mekaanisen lujuuden tutkimiseen. Rakennusfysiikkaa, akustiikkaa, käyttöikää, paloturvallisuutta, hygienia-, terveys-, ympäristövaikutuksia, energiataloutta tai asennustekniikkaa ei käsitelty tässä työssä.

Testien suunnittelu pohjautui osittain standardeihin ja parvekkeen suunnittelijoiden sekä tilaajan ilmoittamiin vaatimuksiin. Eräs tärkeä lähde oli myös ulkopuolisten suunnittelijoiden laatimat laskelmat teräsulokeparvekkeesta. Lisäksi suunnittelijoita haastateltiin parvekkeeseen liittyen. Muilta osin työn perustana oli kirjallisuustutkimus ja tärkeimpänä aineistona oli testeistä saadut tulokset.

Tämä työ käsitteli yksittäisen liitososan kokeita. Testissä koestettiin neljä yksittäistä liitososaa, joista yhdessä käytettiin alkuperäisiä paksumpia harjateräksiä. Ensimmäisten kokeiden perusteella todettiin parvekkeen ja sen liitosten kestävän moninkertaisesti suunniteltuun kestävyyteen nähden. Rakenne ei murtunut odotetulla tavalla, mutta moninkertaisen varmuuden perusteella kokeiden tulokset voidaan silti hyväksyä. Näin voidaan alustavasti sanoa parvekkeen olevan turvallinen ja täyttävän sille asetetut raja-arvot. Tuote täytyy kuitenkin testata uudestaan koejärjestelyillä, jossa on koko rakenne mukana.

Ainoastaan käyttörajatilan taipuma ei täyttänyt täysin tilaajan vaatimuksia, mutta standardien mukainen taipuma oli sallituissa rajoissa. Taipumaa ei voida kuitenkaan täysin pitää todellisena taipumana, sillä rakenne oli kokeessa erilainen todelliseen nähden. Tämän vuoksi taipumaa tulee tutkia tarkemmin myöhemmässä kokeessa. Seuraavan vaiheen testeissä täytyy myös keskittyä erityisesti värähtelyn ja rakenteen ominaistaajuuden tutkimiseen. Lisäksi rakenteen yksityiskohtia täytyy tutkia ja parantaa.

The Master’s thesis was aimed to design tests for the suspended steel balcony invented by NCC Construction Ltd. The tests were made to obtain a certification for the balcony. The primary objective was to introduce all the necessary properties and boundary values for them. The test results were compared with the previous designs and the test suitability was investigated with regard to this product. The second objective was to examine different options for certification and determine the most appropriate one.

This work was limited to the analysis of prefabricated buildings with a suspended steel balcony attached to the intermediate floor. The panning of the balcony was not included in this study so the plans made by a third party were not introduced. However, the leading principles for the design were presented and finally compared with the test results. This thesis explored the mechanical strength of suspended steel balconies’. Structural physics, acoustics, life expectancy, fire resistance, hygiene, health and envi-ronmental impact, energy economy, or erection technique were left outside the scope of this research.

The planning of the tests was based on the standards and requirements introduced by balcony designers and the subscriber. Other essential sources included the third-party plans for the suspended steel balcony and balcony designer interviews. Other parts were constituted by literary research and greatly by test results.

This research introduced the test of the single joints. The tests included four single joints, of which one had larger ribbed bars. The single joint tests indicated that the balcony and its joints had a multiple resistance compared with the initially designed resistance. The structure did not fail as predicted but due to the multiple resistances, the results were satisfactory. Consequently the safety of the balcony and the boundary values given sufficed. However, the entire balcony structure must be further tested in.

The deflection in the service limit state was the only property which was not entirely acceptable. The deflection limit according to the standards was attained but it did not meet the subscriber’s demands. The test arrangements did not correspond totally to the actual structure, hence the results were not concrete. Therefore the deflection must be further examined in future testing. Moreover, the vibration and the characteristic frequency of the structures require more profound investigation. In addition, structural details must be studied and improved.
