Abstract:Lisäävän valmistuksen kehitys 1980-luvulta on ollut nopeaa ja teknologioiden sovelluskohteet ovat siirtymässä prototyyppien valmistuksesta kohti teollista lopputuotekäyttöä. Lisäävän valmistuksen edut, verrattuna perinteisiin menetelmiin, pohjautuvat geometriseen monimutkaisuuteen ja tuotesuunnittelun vapauteen. Lisäävälle valmistukselle suunnitelluilla osilla voidaan saavuttaa jopa vallankumouksellisia toiminnallisia, operatiivisia sekä taloudellisia etuja. |
