Abstract:Ympäristöystävällisten ja uusiutuvien energialähteiden löytäminen on yksi 2000-luvun suurimmista haasteista; globaali väestönkasvu merkitsee entistä suurempia paineita sekä energian että ravinnon tuotannolle. Hiilijalanjäljen pienentämiseksi on käytettävä ympäristön kannalta kestäviä menetelmiä. Ravinnon tuotannossa on pyrittävä löytämään yleisesti saatavilla olevia raaka-aineita, joiden kasvatuksessa ei käytetä ekosysteemiä kuormittavia aineita ja toimivien menetelmien tulisi lisäksi olla myös kustannustehokkaita. |
