The objective of this Master's Thesis was to find a way to integrate business intelligence system and customer relationship management system in a way that it would be possible to make target groups to customer relationship management system directly from a report made with business intelligence system. Definition of terms like customer relationship management and business intelligence are explained in detail in this thesis. The customer relationship management system used in this Thesis is iSteer Share and the business intelligence system used is Pentaho Business Intelligence Community Edition. In this Thesis it is also described what are the differences between normalized data model and denormalized data model and why normalized data models are used in operational databases and why denormalized data models are used in data warehouses. The objective of the Thesis is met by building a servlet that acts as an interface between the customer relationship management system and the business intelligence system. The servlet gathers selected group of persons from the report and loads them to customer relationship management system as a target group. This solution and the prototype built shows that it is possible to use business intelligence system as a source of target groups and that there are interesting ways to use this feature. It is fairly easy to start using the prototype and the performance tests show that the prototype can handle target groups with thousand or less members
